Online Donations a Reality

[7 Aug 2007 | 593 views | Print This Post | Email This Post ]

Every day, since the shul started, I would click on the donate tab and see the message “coming soon.” I would wonder how long can it take to create an online donation form. This question, of course was asked by Rabbi Yaakov Rich who knows nothing about web design. However, Yaakov Rich, the graphic designer, was quickly able to answer the question, explaining all the steps and details that were required before an online donation could be made. Yesterday, Yaakov Rich, the graphic designer, let Rabbi Yaakov Rich know that the online donation form is now ready for use.

So, I am hereby announcing the beginning of the CTC donation season. There are no limits as to how many donations you can make, and there are no size restrictions for these donations. We only ask that you not make a donation and then throw it back, as Jews do not make donations for sport, rather, only for utilitarian or religious reasons. Congregation Toras Chaim will be awarding a prize for the one who makes the biggest donation (a photo of you and your donation is not required as proof), so let the fun (and support) begin.

Warmest regards,
Rabbi Yaakov Rich
