Shavuos Schedule 2009
Day One: Thursday, May 28, 2009
- Eruv Tavshillin is made (see ArtScroll page 654)
- Candlelighting–8:10 PM
- Mincha followed by class–8:10 PM
- Ma’ariv–9:10 PM
- All Night Learning–12:00 AM – 5:30 AM (Men, women and children are invited to learn in classes, small groups, chavrusos, or individually.)
- Rabbi Yaakov Rich and Rabbi Avi Bloomenstiel will alternate giving classes throughout the evening. Rabbi Shlomo Abrams will give the final class of the 5-part series on Megillas Rus.
- During the night, learners will be treated to coffee, cake, cookies and ice cream, plus fresh fruit and vegetables sponsored by Mrs. Ruthy Feldhendler of Toronto, Canada.

- Mincha/Abbrev. Kabbalos Shabbos/Maariv–7:00 PM
- Candlelighting–8:10 PM
Day Two, Shabbos, May 30, 2009
- Shacharis–8:30 AM
- Yizkor (Approx. 10:15 AM)
- Deluxe Meat Luncheon-12:30 PM (Jointly sponsored by the Abrams and Wiseman families – All shul congregants, men, women and children are invited, no charge)
- Mincha–7:45 PM followed by Ne’ilas HaChag (special celebration to close-out the festival, including washing for Hamotzi, singing and divrei Torah from shul members, men & women invited)
- Shavuos/Shabbos Ends–9:15 PM
- Maariv–9:15 PM followed by havdallah
