Rabbi Rich, the 10th yahrtzeit is a watershed when we account for the great deeds and maasim toivim of the departed.
I apologize if I sound corny but one of the greatest deeds of your family is raising you in what was then the only real democracy–BRITISH North America.
Majority of us never been raised in the beautifull Torah Communities of Toronto, Montreal,Edmonton, Winnipeg and (even Ottawa now)…
Best wishes for its occasion is Lichtike Gan Eiden and Techias HaMeisim very very soon, bemeheiro, beyomeinu!!!

Congregation Toras Chaim is an Orthodox shul / synagogue / minyan in Dallas, Texas, where Torah observance and study are vibrant, relevant, and meaningful. . .today.
