[29 Sep 2009 | 1,155 views | Print This Post | Email This Post ]

Congregation Toras Chaim welcomes you to the first ever Dallas Learn ’n Burn.  Learn ‘n Burn is a chance to relax, drink some scotch, smoke cigars, and hear a little Torah.  Please come — and ask your friends to join us as well.  This will be held during the week of Succos.  We will meet at the Rich succah, 7119 Bremerton Ct., Dallas 75252, on Wednesday, October 7 at 8:30 PM.  We will have a speaker, to be announced soon, and he will speak on a topic, we think.  All Scotch and light snacks will be kosher.  Bring your own cigars if you wish.  There is $10 per person charge for the event, but if you would like the great honor of being a Scotch sponsor or have any questions about the event, please contact Josh Rothstein at 214-223-0055 or [email protected].

We look forward to seeing you at the Learn ‘n Burn. Only 50 spaces available. Register early before all the seats are taken.

As a lover of fine cigars, I am convinced that, besides the simchas beis ha-shoeva, this may be the single greatest Sukkos event in the history of our people.

I’m bringing extra Punch rare corojo’s and cohiba’s for anyone that wants!

What a splendid idea! I’ve been advocating a drop with biscuits (sweet) erev Shabbat/Yom Tov for ever! So when can the ladies do something similar???

I’m with Josh. With cigars, it’s definitely stink and study.

Wednesday is a milestone birthday for me, so this will be fun. I’ll bring a bottle of something and a fire extinguisher.

It may be just a rumor, but I heard that the Speysider Rebbe was going to be there.
