Restaurants

  • Cafe Fino
    (7522 Campbell Rd, Dallas, TX 75248; SW corner Campbell & Coit, map 972-931-9500). Full service dairy restaurant Serving Pizza, pasta and other delicious Italian dishes. See their web site for more info.
  • Esther’s Steakhouse
    (580 W. Arapaho , Richardson, TX 75080; access from Hampshire off of W. Arapaho, map, 972-479-9838). Full service Middle Eastern grill restaurant (meat), open daily for dinner only and Saturday night after sundown. All items baked on premises are Pas Yisroel. BYOB of kosher wine. Adult dining only.
  • Madras Pavilion Restaurant
    (101 South Coit Road, Richardson, TX 75080; mall just south of Beltline, map, 972-671-3672). Full service restaurant serving south Indian vegetarian and dairy cuisine. Popular Lunch Buffet is served every weekday. Private meeting & party room available. Off premise catering and take-out meals available upon request.
  • Café Carmel
    (13410 Preston Road, Dallas, TX, 75240; behind Capital One Bank, access parking lot from Dilbeck Rd. map, 972-726-9800). Dairy restaurant & cafe serving breakfast, lunch & dinner. Open Sunday 9am-8:30pm, Mon-Fri 7:30am-8:30pm (early closing on Fri. afternoon), Sat. Night 7-10:30pm (winter only).
  • Natalie’s Kitchen & Market
    (7114 Campbell Rd., Dallas, TX 75248; SE corner of Hillcrest & Campbell. map, 972-380-1010). Middle Eastern meat grill restaurant featuring: falafel, shwarma, schnitzel, liver, lamb, kabobs, Israeli and Moroccan Salads , fresh hot pita bread and more. Natalie’s Market (next door) has dozens of salads, cheeses, frozen dinners and dry goods, plus prepackaged Rubashkin meats, poultry and deli meats.

Deli Counters & Bakeries

  • Tom Thumb Bakery, Kosher Deli, and Fresh Meat Market: The Market at Preston Forest
    (11920 Preston Road, Dallas, TX 75230; NE corner of Preston & Forest, map,  972-392-2501). Fresh Glatt Kosher meat & fish department (including a variety of Sushi), a full service kosher deli department and a kosher bakery are under DK supervision. All breads & rolls in the Bakery are pareve; cakes, pastries and other baked items as marked. Prepared foods, fried chicken, rotisserie chicken, meats, deli sandwiches and platters are available for take-out in sealed trays or containers indicating DK supervision. Fresh fish ground for Holiday orders. A limited menu of cooked to order items are available daily and may be eaten in the cafe area. Full time DK Mashgichem: Shmuel Berkowitz or Michael Baum. DK Certification is limited to this location only.
  • Tom Thumb Bakery, Kosher Deli, and Fresh Meat Market: North Dallas Location
    (1380 W. Campbell Road, Richardson, TX 75080, map, 972-680-6010). Fresh Glatt Kosher meat & fish department (including a variety of fresh Sushi), full service kosher deli department and a kosher bakery are under DK supervision. As of July 1st 2007 all breads & rolls in the Bakery are pareve and all cakes, pastries and other baked items produced are either pareve or dairy as marked. Take-out hot prepared foods, fried chicken, rotisserie chicken & meats, hamburgers & fries, hot lunches; deli sandwiches and other deli products are provided in sealed containers indicating DK supervision. A limited menu of ‘cooked-to-order’ items and prepared foods may be eaten in the café area. Full time DK Mashgichem: Moe Gabbai and Shaul Cajas. DK Certification is limited to this locations only.
  • Esther’s Bakery
    Next Door to Esther’s Steakhouse. (580 W. Arapaho , Richardson, TX 75080; access from Hampshire off of W. Arapaho, map, 972-479-9838). Variety of baked goods, including fresh Moroccan pastries & Esther’s own Challah baked fresh every Friday.

  • Coldstone Creamery

Super-premium ice cream, yogurt & Italian sorbet made fresh on site every day with your choice of countless mix-in combinations then scooped into fresh-made waffle cones or bowls. Custom-made cakes made fresh in a variety of mouthwatering cake and ice cream combinations wrapped in fluffy white frosting or fudge ganache. DK certification limited to this location.

  • Simcha Kosher Catering
    (3230 Towerwood Drive, Suite B, Dallas, TX, 75234, 972-620-7293). The metroplex’s only Jewishly-owned, fully equipped, full service kosher caterer (meat or dairy). Catering is offered at several area venues and is available for any size group. Drop off orders delivered in sealed DK packaging. Full service catering with wait staff, china, utensils, etc. is available for off-premise banquet service.

    Thanks for this listing. It is very useful for the newcomer. When I searched the Thom Thumb website to find a store that carries Kosher food, it did not specify this amongst their specialties. Then I remembered your site listing all of this information. And now, I’m off to market!
