First Annual CTC Succah Hop

Thursday, September 27, 2007
Time: TBD (Most likely will begin approximately 2 hours prior to Mincha on the first day of Succos)

Please contact Abigail Ruttenberg at ruttenbergs@aol.com or 972.248.4124 if you are interested in being a “Stop on the Hop” by Sunday, September 23, 2007.

The Succah Hop will be a great way to socialize with our Shul Family in an informal setting outside of the Shul. To ensure all members feel comfortable, only pre-packaged Pareve foods will be served at each Succah.

The acceptable hechsherim of the shul are O-U, Kof-K and Star-K and of course our own D-K.  Any questions regarding other hechsherim should be directed to Rabbi Rich at yrich@toraschaimdallas.org

Tashlich Update

During the afternoon of the first day, after Mincha, occurs the practice of tashlich, in which prayers are recited near natural flowing water.

As a congregation we (men and women and children) will depart from the shul at 7 PM to a spectacular creek behind Shalom and Shira Abrams’ home. As this is in a gated community, we will need to walk together, making sure that the children stay close to their parents so as not to create a public disturbance.

We appreciate everyone’s cooperation in this matter, and look forward to an inspiring davening.

Kesivah V’Chasima Tova
Everyone should be signed and sealed for a wonderful year of blessings and growth in Torah
