About
Rabbi Yaakov Rich
Meet Rabbi Yaakov Rich, a warm and inspiring educator whose passion for Torah and connection with his students make learning an engaging and uplifting experience.
Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, Rabbi Rich earned a BA in Economics from York University before immersing himself in advanced Torah studies at Yeshivas Ohr Somayach in Monsey and Ner Israel Rabbinical College in Baltimore. He received his rabbinical ordination from the esteemed Rabbi Avrohom Pam, zt”l, Rosh Yeshiva of Torah V’Das.
With over 30 years of experience teaching, lecturing, and writing, Rabbi Rich has shared his deep knowledge of Torah topics—ranging from Chumash (Bible studies) and halacha (Jewish law) to hashkafa (Jewish philosophy) and Gemara (Talmud study)—with students of all ages. Known for his ability to uncover clear, practical, and relevant messages within every Torah discussion, Rabbi Rich ensures that his students walk away not only informed but inspired. His approach makes the timeless wisdom of Torah feel deeply personal and meaningful for everyone who learns with him.
Learning Torah
Join A Class
Learning Torah is the cornerstone of Jewish life, shaping the way we think, act, and connect with Hashem. It provides a roadmap for living a meaningful and purposeful life, guiding us in our relationships with others and with ourselves. Through Torah study, we gain insight into Hashem’s will, deepening our understanding of His wisdom and the world He created. It nurtures our spiritual growth, fortifies our emunah (faith), and offers clarity in facing life’s challenges. Beyond personal growth, learning Torah strengthens our connection to generations past and future, serving as a vibrant link in the eternal chain of our heritage.
