A Gut Voch and a Gut Chodesh to Everyone

Wow. What a tremendous Shabbos. So much energy, so much enthusiasm, so much excitement. Susan and I feel very privileged to be associated with a congregation of such wonderful people.

Please note that we have a regular Sunday morning minyan at 8 AM. Given that it is Rosh Chodesh, with Torah reading, it would be great if as many people as possible could help us with the minyan.

Onward and upward.

Free Stuff!

From our good friends Zalman and Elisheva Liberman:
*******************************************

FREE STUFF!

We’re moving to Israel Thursday, and are taking only a few things with us, so have LOTS of great stuff to give away!

We have some people coming to move it all out late Tuesday, so you have to act fast!  Come and see if there’s anything you want – if you come and move it out by then, it’s yours!  We’d rather give it to Jewish people than to the Goodwill!

We have:

Kosher dishes and kitchenware
Art and Mirrors
Some (small) furniture
Lots of toys and baby stuff
Baby and adult clothes
Lamps, shades, small electrics
Books
Some Jewish stuff and seforim
A perfectly good, kosher Cool Daddy deep fryer
A perfectly good portable kosher convection oven
Lots of other random things!

Some of the things are brand new and have never been used!

We also have a great cuisinart with many attachments we’re selling for $20 (Kosher Meat)

Come by anytime Tuesday or call 972-733-3966 (but we’re so busy moving we may not answer!)

7309 Kirkham Drive (take Meandering to Frankford, turn right on Frankford, then first right onto Aramis, then first right onto Kirkham – we have the garage sale and for rent signs out front)

Meeting tonight

Good morning to all.

Just a note reminding everyone about the steering committee meeting tonight, 7 PM at CTC, 17912 Hillcrest Rd., Dallas, TX 75252. Questions or comments please contact Shalom Abrams at (903) 918-9650.

If you have been involved before, your presence is greatly needed. If you have not yet been involved in CTC planning meetings, then now is the time start. There is tremendous excitement in the shul as we move onward and upward into the long, hot Dallas summer, preparing for a meaningful and inspiring Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur season. Your participation is greatly appreciated.

Warmest regards
Rabbi Yaakov Rich
