2009 High Holiday Seats and Childcare

Dear friends,

From past experience I am confident that Rosh Hashana and Yom HaKippurim will, please G-d, be very uplifting this year at Congregation Toras Chaim. If you davened with us last year, then you know why I feel we are so fortunate to once again have a Ba’al Tefillah/Chazzan with the talent and sensitivity of Rabbi Moshe Kranz of Lakewood, NJ. In addition, and new this year, we are very excited to announce that Rabbi David Shawel will be the Ba’al Tefillah/Chazzan for both Shacharis and Mincha for Rosh Hashana and Yom Hakippurim.

The shul leadership has worked very hard to ensure that High Holiday tickets remain affordable. We are expecting more people this year than last, and tickets are being sold on a first-come, first-served basis. I encourage everyone to purchase your tickets as soon as possible and benefit from the lower early bird pricing which will be available until August 31st.  The price includes one “ticket” for both days of Rosh Hashana and for Yom HaKippurim. Childcare will cost $20/child/day. We do need to know in advance if you plan to use the childcare services.

Full High Holiday Price List:

  • Full member (Early Bird): $150 per person (Tickets paid for by August 31, 2009)
  • Full member: $175 (Tickets paid for by Rosh Hashana)
  • Associate member (Early Bird): $200 (Tickets paid for by August 31, 2009)
  • Associate member: $225 (Tickets paid for by Rosh Hashana)
  • Non-member (Early Bird): $300
  • Non-member: $350

  • Childcare: $20/child/day

You may pay by check, made out to Congregation Toras Chaim, or use the online payment interface. Please indicate in the “Special Instruction” box how many men and women seats are being purchased, and how many children are being registered for child care. Please contact Wes Sutkin directly at 972-267-4747 if you need to make any special financial arrangements.

We wish everyone a happy, healthy, sweet new year, filled with growth in all areas of one’s relationship with Hashem.

Wes Sutkin
President, Congregation Toras Chaim
