LagB'Omer2013Recap

Lag B’Omer was a tremendous amount of fun this year. Here are the highlights:

  • Mazel Tov and much appreciation to the Bloomenstiel & Kaplowitz families on the gift of a sefer Torah to Congregation Toras Chaim
  • Congratulations to the champion horseshoe tossers, Kalman Russ & Jeisyn Murphy. They defeated Nechemyah Rich & Rabbi Yaakov Rich for the trophy.
  • Big Yasher Koach to Shimshon Cook for what else, cooking.
  • Big Yasher Koach to Abigail Ruttenberg for helping in the kitchen
  • Big Yasher Koach to the Russ & Murphy families for helping to clean up.
  • Especially wonderful to see Mr. Stan Sutkin (Wes’ father) in attendance after his recent illness.
  • Over 100 in attendance
  • Approximately 50 kids are walking around with all kinds of crazy face designs. Thank you to Merry Makers Too for wonderful face painting.

Looking forward to next year.

  2. I had a blast. The horseshoe tournament was so much fun. Congratulations to Jeisyn Murphy and Kalman Russ for their win in the horseshoe tournament. It was a close game, the final score being 5-4. Thank you so much for a great BBQ. I look forward to this BBQ the whole year.
