Boys love Junior Congregation at Toras Chaim because of its fun program and interactive services. Parents love Junior Congregation at Toras Chaim because their boys are learning Jewish prayers and developing an appreciation for coming to Shul. Taught by our own Simcha Itzkavitch, a teacher at Torah Day School of Dallas, and a great lover of children, the boys are taught the Shabbos prayers in a fun, interactive way, followed by stories and lessons from the weekly Torah portion and the season of the year.
Junior Congregation will take place in the home of Zlati Krycer (or should we say Yaakov Zevi Krycer :-) Shabbos mornings, 9:40-10:40 AM. Simcha will leave from shul with any boys already there. Otherwise, parents are invited to drop off their sons at the Krycer home, 7004 Halprin St., Dallas, TX 75252 by 9:40 AM. Simcha will escort the boys back to the main services (two blocks away) at 10:40 AM where parents can join them for the end of davening and kiddush.
