A Letter from Wes Sutkin, President of Congregation Toras Chaim

Dear Friends,

Yesterday our congregation emailed a notification referencing a Gold Party we are hosting on Tuesday, October 20, 7:30 PM at the shul. You may be asking yourselves, “What is a gold party?” Let me explain. Gold parties are similar to the Tupperware parties of the 1980’s. Here’s how it works: The host of the party, in this case Congregation Toras Chaim, invites members and friends over for a Gold Party – where people bring all of their unwanted or broken gold jewelry and sterling silver items to sell for cash! A certified, bonded and insured representative will be at the party to appraise the items and cut you a check on the spot. All gold party reps are certified gold & silver buyers who offer true market value for your jewelry, based on the weight and purity of your gold & silver items. You will be amazed when you learn how much money everyone made from such a small amount of gold, silver, or platinum jewelry, and, after all is said and done, the shul stands to make between 10-20 % of the total sales for the evening.

Read some testimonials below from people who attended and sold their jewelry at a gold party:

My first experience was great. I sold my jewelry I wasn’t wearing.  I made $1,500.00.  Why keep old jewelry if you are not wearing it. Sell it and purchase new jewelry, pay bills, car note, mortgage or just put some money in the bank.

Gayle, Gold Party Guest

At first I was very skeptical about selling my prized jewelry.  I had several pieces that I didn’t wear anymore so after watching all the commercials and online advertising I decided to do a little investigation into the gold market, and found that the market in fact was at an all time high.  A friend invited me to a gold party. I sold my gold and received more than I paid for it.  This is quite remarkable.  Thank you.

Mike, Gold Party Guest

The gold party was so easy. I was able to really enjoy myself and somehow make money in the process!

 True Story

When former preschool teacher and mother of three Sandi Staiti heard that her sister-in-law was hosting a gold party, she was a bit put off that she wasn’t invited – but also intrigued. “I had no idea what gold parties were. I thought they were jewelry swaps,” she confesses. After scoring an explanation and an invite, Sandi corralled some junky jewelry she had lying around the house – broken chains, orphaned earrings and pieces she no longer wears – and headed to the party. She says, “When I was offered $1,300, I almost fell off my chair.”

So why not consider coming to the Gold Party at Congregation Toras Chaim. You have nothing to lose except that old unwanted, unused jewelry for instant cash. With gold at an almost all-time high, in most cases you will make more than what the piece was originally worth.
