Jewish Marriage – Two New Support Groups

For Those Already Married, and Singles Looking to Get Married

The sacred institution of marriage is seriously threatened in our times. Shocking statistics about divorce rates combine with countless reports about unhappy marriages and unstable families to paint a sad picture of what happens after the mazel tovs are said.

A major source of their problem is the lack of proper guidance which bride and groom receive in preparing themselves for a life together based on the foundaton of halacha and Torah outlook and ethics.

As a remedy to the challenges we face two new classes on Jewish Marriage are now forming. Rabbi Yaakov Rich will lead a  group for the men and Rebbetzin Susan Rich will lead a group for the women. There is a desperate need for education in this all-important area of Jewish life and living. Discuss issues involving, but not limited to: Anger - Its Causes and Management, Intimacy, True Meaning of Love, Commitment, Roles & Responsibility, Differences & Similarities, Raising Children, Earning a Living, Trust in Hashem, Achieving Holiness, and much, much more.

  • The men will meet Wednesdays, 8:30-9:30 PM at Congregation Toras Chaim, 17912 Hillcrest Rd. (Begins Wednesday, January 13, 2010)
  • The women will meet Tuesdays at 8:45 PM, right after Power Potential, which begins 8 PM, at Congregation Toras Chaim, 17912 Hillcrest Rd. (Power Potential: 8-8:45 PM. Jewish Marriage: 8:45-9:30 PM. You are encouraged to come for both sessions as they compliment each other, but may come to only the first or second, if that suits your needs best. Begins Tuesday, January 12, 2010)

  1. Dear Rabbi and Rebbetzin Rich,

This sounds like another wonderful class you are offering!
I want to thank you both for all that you have done for both Perry and myself. Our move into the north eruv and being part of Toras Chaim has given us an opportunity to continuously grow in so many areas!

    With the greatest of appreciation,
    Wendy Narzem

  2. Dear Rabbi and Rebbetzin Rich,

I would like to echo Wendy’s note and thank you for all that you are doing! What you are doing is an awesome thing providing us with all sorts of tools to build upon our marriages, homes, and Yiddishkeit. What a beautiful thing to cultivate a Torah centered home filled with Hashem’ s presence.

Neil and I are so glad we moved to Dallas! We are learning so much and enjoying Toras Chaim!

Thanks for all that you do for our community!

    Sincerely,
    Rivkah Krasnoff
