Mazel Tov to Josh & Heather Jacobs on the birth of a baby boy. Mother and son are doing well. The bris will, please G-d, take place this Thursday, 8 AM at Congregation Toras Chaim, 17912 Hillcrest Rd. (the east side of Hillcrest, just south of Frankford).
Josh & Heather currently live outside the community and are not from the Dallas area. As a result they don’t have family and friends who can join them in this wonderful celbration. This is a special opportunity for those connected with Congregation Toras Chaim to come together and participate in the bris and seudas mitzvah (meal).
Even though the custom is not to invite someone to a bris, so as not to obligate one in the performance of a mitzvah, nevertheless, we do need to know approximate numbers so we can count on having a minyan, and to know for how many we are preparing.
Baruch Hashem, we came together this week to help the Masons bear the burden of their grief. Now we need to do the same to help welcome a Jewish baby to a life of Torah and mitzvos. Please respond to Rabbi Rich at [email protected] if you are planning on coming.
