Good Erev Shabbos CTC Family:
With a great sense of satisfaction and gratitude to HaKadosh Baruch Hu, I look back on the years of my presidency at Congregation Toras Chaim with pride at what our kehilla has accomplished. The quantity and quality of growth at CTC during this time has been nothing short of inspiring. I am confident that the shul now possesses the core membership with the requisite dedication needed to move CTC forward into the future; a future that, IYâ€H, includes the laying of a cornerstone for the new CTC building on Hillcrest.
It is with some level of sadness that I announce my four years as your shul president will conclude with the Annual Shul Meeting Sunday June 24, 2012, 9:15 AM, at CTC, 7119 Bremerton Ct., Dallas, TX 75252.
But, it is with great happiness that I present to you the slate of candidates for whom you will be voting at that meeting.
The CTC nominating committee has been diligent in formulating a group that I believe will help propel the shul to achieve its lofty ambitions in the months and years ahead. With Hashem’s help, the CTC Executive Board will continue to ensure the good and welfare of the shul and its members. I am pleased to announce:
CTC Executive Board
- Board President: Rabbi Avraham Bloomenstiel
- Vice President: Ben Nise
- Treasurer: Josh Rothstein
- Secretary: Ari Goldberg
- Immediate Past President: Wes Sutkin
In addition, the following people will be running for positions on the CTC Advisory Board.
CTC Advisory Board
- Ehoud Wilson
- Shoshana Chana Jacobs
- Yitzchok Ellis
- Dr. Ian Neeland (one year remaining on his current term — not up for election)
May Hashem grant the board the Siyata D’Shmaya (Heavenly Help) to make the proper decisions leading CTC successfully into the future.
All the Best,
Wes Sutkin, President
