Dear Friends:
As a participant of Congregation Toras Chaim, you’ve experienced firsthand the family feeling of our shul. Even through the significant growth of the past couple of years, CTC has retained its warmth, fellowship, and sincere connection among all those who attend. And, we don’t merely daven in a minyan with dignity and decorum; we also engage each other in daily activities and causes to benefit our broader community and Dallas as a whole.
You’ll find that CTC offers classes and services every day of the week, led by our popular and esteemed Rabbi Yaakov Rich, including:
- Thrice daily minyan
- Daily 6 AM Gemara shiur / Sunday Night Class for Women on Tehillim: Meaning & Messages
- Lunch and Learn in Torah philosophy two days a week
- Avos U’Banim for fathers and sons, where over 15 gather each Motzei Shabbos for Torah learning, pizza and prizes
- In-depth halachic analyses through classes and shul-wide discussions Friday night
- Inspiring Shabbatonim
- SEED program / Family barbecues and other social events
- Purim Mishloach Manos Program / Community-wide wholesale meat sales
These have helped to weave the tapestry that is our shul, all stitched together by a state-of-the-art website that keeps our members and friends informed and up-to-date.
Our Sages teach us, “Im ein kemach, ein Torah. Without flour there can be no Torah.†That is, the development of Torah requires financial support. In these difficult times, we are all stretched thin. However, Hashem’s ability to provide is limitless. Please consider sustaining and strengthening Torah growth in Far North Dallas by becoming a full member of Congregation Toras Chaim for the “early bird” special price of $800 being offered during the month of February. Family membership goes up to $900 on March 1st, so I’m hopeful the $100 savings will encourage many of you to take advantage of the early bird offer.
Or, you may become an associate member for only $360 paid annually. Your generous assistance and encouragement of CTC will benefit us, through the ability to provide enhanced “in-reach and outreach†programs, and will benefit you, by creating greater opportunities for Orthodox growth in the Dallas North eruv. Thank you for your understanding and support.
With best regards,
Wes Sutkin
President, Congregation Toras Chaim
