Romanian in Chicago – a real old world deli – makes all of their meats on premises. This is not a mass-market production with preservatives and fillers. It is 100% pure quality! The best meat is always worth the price, especially when you think about the alternatives from major grocery chains.
Our Romanian salamis are being sold by pre-order only. We will be placing our order November 24, 2009. If you pre-order one or more salamis, then yours will be included in our order to be picked up at the end of November. These salamis are not available anywhere else outside of Chicago. You can only get them at Congregation Toras Chaim. Available are the 4lb Romainian salamis — on sale for $10 per pound which translates to $40 per salami.
These salamis are Glatt Kosher under the supervision of the OU, and are kosher for Passover. They are perfect for a snack, to spice up the Shabbos table, and they make a great gift.
Please note: This order is separate from our current meat order. Pickup for the salamis will be at the end of November (TBA) whereas the meat order pickup is Sunday, December 13, 2009.
