Secrets of the Sages – Tefilla. A new series on prayer through the lens of Chassidus, at Congregation Toras Chaim.
Chassidus focuses on two things: Ohr (light) and Chiyus (vitality). Chassidus does not claim to invent anything new. Imagine a darkened room. Chassidus shines a light exposing things you never knew were there. Imagine the body’s lethargic limbs. Chassidus revitalizes them to move with excitement and enthusiasm. Through Chassidus we will discover a depth and profundity in tefilla that we never knew existed, but was always there. Through Chassidus we will gain excitement and enthusiasm in our prayer like never before.
