We regret to inform you of the passing of Hagon Rav Chaim Stein, ZT”L, the Rosh Yeshiva of Telshe Cleveland, who died today. He was close to 100-years-old.
Rav Chaim Stein, was the senior Rosh Yeshiva in the United States, and was one of the few remaining links to pre-war Europe, Rav Chaim served as a beacon of light and inspiration to the entire Olam Hatorah and the wider frum community.
Rav Chaim’s passing comes just four days after the passing of Hagon rav Michel Yehuda Lefkowitz, and less than two weeks after the passing of Hagon Rav Yitzchok Dov Koppelman ZT”L.
